Gurcharan:- Hey Rihanna, please don’t take it in a negative sense, but, you really look damn sexy in your swimsuit.
Rihanna:- Wow! Thanks for the compliment, Gurcharan! Why should I take it in a negative sense? My dream is to become a supermodel one day like my mom.
Ritwik:- Oho! Really! Best of luck for that! You never know, maybe, our kids will keep your hot and glamorous photos in their bathrooms, provided if you become a supermodel by that time.
Rihanna:- Ha ha ha…I will be very happy if I can become a sex symbol for the young generation.
Riku:- Hey, stop those discussions now. Come on, today, we will practice doggy style swimming.
Gurcharan:- It is the toughest style of swimming. You need lots of stamina. How dogs or royal Bengal tiger swims in that style so efficiently, I really wonder.
Riku:- Yesterday, in National Bengali Doordarshan Channel, I watched a Bengali movie, ‘Kuni’. Have you guys watched that movie?
Ritwik:- Oh! That’s an award winning movie. Soumitra Chatterjee played the role of a coach. The film showed the real politics that happens in our Bengal Swimming Team. Due to those politics, Bengali swimmers are losing their grounds in respect to the Mumbai swimmers. That’s a nice film.
Rihanna:- Oh! My thighs are itching now. Actually, there are so many chemicals in this pool water. Some chemicals may be allergic for my skin. Gurcharan, can you please itch up my skin. I have long nails, naah!
Gurcharan:- Sure! Sure! Dear. I will rub your thighs under the water. Are you feeling comfortable now?
Rihanna:- Oh! Yeah! Thanks Gurcharan!

Rakesh:- I don’t understand one thing! How come an unofficial tournament is taking place where all the school teams are participating?
Sajal:- Arrey, bhai…this is the profitable business for Eastern Park Associates’ Club (EPAC). Throughout the year, they keep on conducting various tournaments on various games. They get local sponsorships from local companies of Bhawanipore and Paddapukur area. So, that’s a business. The members of EPAC went to various schools and requested them to participate in the tournament. Like in our case, they requested our Bairagi Sir. Bairagi Sir told to our Ganga daa in a PT Class. Ganga daa has no other work to do, so, took the charge…he he he…

Mrs. Purokayastha:- Students…have you all read the notice board today?
Students of Class VIII:- No, madam!
Mrs. Purokayastha:- That’s a bad practice! Every day, after entering the school, spend some time to read the notice board to know about what is happening or what is going to happen in the school premises. Anyway, today after the 5th period, you all need to go to the auditorium hall.
********************************************************
Mr. Roland:- Good afternoon Students! You all may be thinking about why you all have been called in the auditorium, right?
Students of afternoon session of St.Sebastian School:- Yes, Sir!
Mr. Roland:- Today, we have five eminent ex-students of this school. They are Chitrarupa, Suranjay, Jagat, Melissa and Upendranath. Chitrarupa, is a leading actress of Bengali cinema at present, you all know that. Suranjay has already become a famous singer with his own band ‘POPCORN’. Jagat is the captain of the Bengal Cricket Team at present. Melissa has already become Assistant Head of the Eastern Region of the Geological Survey of India. Upendranath is an eminent painter. Recently, one of his paintings got auctioned in Delhi Art Gallery, which is the highest for any Bengali painter till date. Please give a big round of applause for them.
Students of afternoon session of Saint Sebastian School (Clapping their hands):- Hurrah!
Mr. Roland:- Now, I would like each of them to say something to our students.
Chitrarupa:- Hi, everybody! I am feeling nostalgic now. 13 years back, I was like you people only. Nothing has changed. This school is still that old school where I used to study. Study hard and have full dedication towards your passion, you will surely succeed. Thank you!
Suranjoy:- Namoskaar, amar priyo bhai o bon e raa…tomra kamon acho…nischoi jibon taakey ekhon enjoy karcho…let me tell you one thing…enjoy every moment of your school life fully, because you will not get this type of an entertaining life anymore, once you go out of the school. At this stage, personally, I, really miss my school days. Today, I am going down the memory lane to view those lovely incidents of golden days.
Jagat:- Hello, everyone! As a cricketer, I must say that I have got tremendous support from this school in sports. If you are good in sports, never stop playing your favorite sports for the sake of scoring high marks in exams.
Melissa:- Hi, everyone! Education is important, but, side by side, you must learn to love your nature. What you can learn from nature, you cannot learn it by reading thousands of books also. Feel the nature around you, the nature will automatically let you feel that you are learning many things about nature.
Upendranath:- ki tomra bhabcho…sabai etoh lecture dicchey kano…taai toh…no, I will not give you any lecture because I am from a different world, where there are no fixed rules and regulations. If you are creative or innovative in nature, always capitalize on the Arts, Crafts or Work Education classes. Painting is that representation where no words or letters are used, but, still it communicates the message of the theme directly to the heart of the humans. Thank you.
Mr. Roland:- Thanks to all of you for giving some tips to our students. Now, students, you may be totally confused and asking questions in your mind that why these 5 ex-students have come here. Well, let me tell you. For the first time, we are going to open Alumni of Saint Sebastian School. These 5 ex-students will be in charge of the Alumni. Not only have that, we will publish a school magazine every year. The name of that school magazine will be ‘Swarnalipi’. The magazine will cost only 50 bucks. For that magazine, you all have to contribute with good short stories, poems, drawings, research papers, general knowledge columns, essays and other topics. Not only have that, every year, all the talented students of this school will be given training by our alumni for personality development and soft skills. So, for this year, the last date for entries of your written topics is on 12th December. I hope that all of you will contribute even a little bit to make our alumni and the school magazine a big success. Thank you all and many thanks to our 5 ex-students. You people can go back to your respective classrooms now.

Kanchan:- Yeah! Yesterday, I, Nonigopal and Pramanik went to the Kolkata Film Festival at Nandan Auditorium. We watched the award winning film, ‘Padma Nadir Majhi’. Oh! What a direction! What a film!
Chinmoy:- Oh! You people went to the Hall -1. I, Rabi and Prakash went to the Hall-3. There we saw the film, ‘Tahader Katha’ of our great Mithun daa. It is also an award winning film. Fantastic acting by Mithun Chakraborty. Truly deserves a national award for this acting.
Nonigopal:- Maybe! But, the presentation of ‘Padma Nadir Majhi’ was superb. The film is totally based on the fishing lifestyle of Bangladesh. Utpal Dutta and Rabi Ghosh ruled the show. But, the main hot attraction was Rupa Ganguly. The ‘Draupadi’ of ‘Mahabharata’ serial is a good actress. You have to appreciate that.
Rabi:- Have you watched the film, ‘Ganga’?
Nonigopal:- No.
Rabi:- If you watch the film, ‘Ganga’, then you will not like the film ‘Padma Nadir Majhi’ too much.
***********************************************************
Ganga:- Ok, guys! Listen to us! We have made the final list of 14 players. The team includes Ganga (Captain), Joseph (Vice Captain), Rakesh (Wicket-Keeper), Bhanu, Jahar, Rabi, Chinmoy, Kanchan, Nonigopal, Arindam, Prakash, Satya, Mainak and Sajal.
Joseph:- The day after tomorrow, we have a match against Julian Day School of Townshend Road. All the matches are knock-out matches in this tournament. Matches will be played on every Saturday at 11 AM. Don’t be late on that day. For the 1st match, Jahar, Rabi and Sajal will be the substitutes.

Arindam:- What is it! It is so tasty!
Revathi:- This is the masala fried banana chips.
Arindam:- Banana chips! I have only heard of potato chips.
Revathi:- Ha ha ha…actually, my uncle came to Kolkata. He brought 10 packets of masala fried banana chips from Tiruvananthapuram. My uncle is a businessman there. He has two coconut oil producing factories.
Arindam:- Oho! You, the Malayalam speaking people cook everything with coconut oil. I am damn sure that this banana chips have been prepared by using coconut oil.
Revathi:- Yeah! Yeah! Kaanchkolaa gulokey narkel teley tey bhajha kora hoyechey…he he he…
Arindam:- Issh…ooaaak…had I known it earlier, I would have never eaten those banana chips.
Revathi:- Was it not tasty? Tell me frankly!
Arindam:- Yeah, it was very tasty, but, prepared with coconut oil!
Revathi:- Oho! You, naah, really! The coconut oil that you use in your hair and the coconut oil that is used to cook our Keralite dishes are entirely different. Eat this Keralite paratha…I am damn sure; you will not even understand whether it has been cooked in coconut oil or mustard oil.
Arindam:- Yeah, this Keralite paratha is very tasty. Hmm…in the curry also, you people have used banana. Ha ha ha…though it is very tasty.
Revathi:- During Pongal festival, you have to come to my house. I am inviting you beforehand. At that time, my mom cooks some special Keralite dishes. Those dishes have yummy taste. You will like it, dear!
Arindam:- Pongal or Onam! Anyway! Anytime, you can invite me to your house. I am really fond of some South Indian dishes, especially, the Masala Dhosa, Sambhar and Paneer Utthapam.
Revathi:- Ha ha ha…not only you, all the Indians are fond of eating those dishes.

Arundhati:- Ki saradin khali pore pore ghumosh bol dekhini…telephone is ringing…please pick up the phone!
Arindam:- Oh! Mom! Today is Sunday and you are telling me to wake up early! Hello!
Bidisha:- Hello! Arindam! Many many happy returns of the day! Happy Birthday to you!
Arindam:- Oh! Thanks a lot, Revathi!
Bidisha:- Revathi! My goodness! How can you forget that unique voice of one of your classmates, idiot!
Arindam:- Ei sabbash! Bidisha! You! You are calling me from New Delhi.
Bidisha:- Yeah! I am! I know it is an STD call. You don’t have to worry about it. My dad will pay the bill.
Arindam:- He he he…thanks for the birthday wish!
Bidisha:- I have sent you two letters two months back. You have not responded it.
Arindam:- arrey! I have posted one letter in the letterbox to your New Delhi address by ordinary post. I have pasted 1 rupee postal stamp on it.
Bidisha:- Idiot! You have to paste a postal stamp of 5 rupees. Anyway! Who knows, whether you are telling the truth or not! I know you such lazy guy very well.
Arindam:- He he he…no, actually, I have not responded your letter. That’s the truth.
Bidisha:- Why! Revathi has become your best friend now, because she is nearer to you. Distance matters, naah! I told you earlier also that you are that kind of a boy, who believes in ‘out of sight, out of mind’ policy.
Arindam:- Anyway! Leave that topic!
Bidisha:- Why should I? Has Revathi proposed you? After all; she loves you, naah!
Arindam:- Revathi says that you love me and you are saying that she loves me! You all girls are same. Both of you are jealous of each other, but, still, both of you will pretend in front of me, that you are caring for your competitor. By the way, how is your life going in New Delhi? Anyone proposed you or not? Or maybe, you have proposed a boy you like in your new school.
Bidisha:- That’s the tragedy for me, naah! There is no 2nd Arindam for me in this new school. That’s why; I am calling you from New Delhi.
Arindam:- Ha ha ha…You will never change, Bidu…You are still that same naughty girl…he he he…
Bidisha:- Hee hee hee…I am missing you dear. Listen to me! In the next Durga Puja, I will come down to Kolkata. Be in Kolkata at that time. Don’t leave Kolkata during that time. By the way, what’s your plan today!
Arindam:- aar bolish naa! My body is too strained and paining here and there. Yesterday, there was a match against Julian Day School of Townshend Road. We won the match, but, after a long gap, we played a cricket match. Hence, the body pain! Today, I will take complete rest.
Bidisha:- Hmm…you are enjoying fully in Kolkata. Here, in Delhi, the life is not so simple and cheerful like that of Kolkata. I can feel it. People are very rough out here. Girls have no respect at all. Dhhuth…after completing Class X, I will go back to Kolkata at any cost. Let my parents live here. I don’t care! Anyway! Arindam, I have talked with you for such a long time. It is an STD call. Dad will scold me later, hee hee hee…
Arindam:- Thanks a lot for the call. We have caller Id in our telephone set. So, next time, I will make you a call. Don’t worry; but once in a week, i.e. in weekends.
Bidisha:- That’s enough for me from such an idiot like you. I will wait for your call, dear. Take care and have a blast. Bye Bye…
Arindam:- Bye, dear!

Joseph:- We cannot be too complacent after winning a match by 10 runs only. They could have won the match very easily. For their silly run-outs, they failed to win that match. But, we must admit that we are a very poor side in terms of bowling, batting and fielding.
Ganga:- Yeah! I agree to our vice-captain. So, as a captain, I have decided that every day, before entering the school, we need a good practice at Eastern Park for at least half an hour. Our school starts at 11 AM. So, if we can come at Eastern Park at around 10.15 AM, it will be better.
************************************************************
Mrs. Samaddar:- I have got the information that every day, before entering the school, a group of boys are playing in Eastern Park.
Nidhi:- Yes, madam! Those are the students of class VIII. For two consecutive days, they have entered inside the school at around 11.05 AM. The conditions of their black shoes were pathetic. All were sweating and panting for breath.
Mrs. Samaddar:- Have you people not warned them?
Nidhi:- Yeah! I told them, but, they showed me big eye-balls. Even Arindam told me straight on my face, ‘You are just a prefect, not the Principal of this school.’
Mrs. Samaddar:- How dare those boys behave like that? Call that boy immediately to me.
Chiranjeevi:- Yes madam! Those boys should be given severe punishments!
Srinivas:- Yeah! Chiran is right! Nidhi, call those boys right now! Madam will take strict actions against them.
Nidhi:- No, no, madam! Give me another chance. I will let them understand!
*******************************************************
Arindam:- For the first time, sweets are getting sold in our canteen, he he he…
Revathi:- It is written on the packet, ‘Jay Nagar er Moya’…
Arindam:- Yeah, these type of sweets are known as ‘Moya’…and the place, Jaynagar is famous for these type of branded sweets. But, I doubt whether this ‘Jay Nagar er Moya’ is the real branded one or just ordinary one.
Nidhi:- Arindam! Please come here. I need to talk to you.
Revathi:- Who is she? Why she is calling you?
Arindam:- She is Nidhi, a good sprinter. But, why is he calling me suddenly?
**********************************************************
Ganga:- Ha ha ha…guys, guys…please listen! Nidhi, the prefect has requested our Arindam to enter the school before or at sharp 11 AM. Nidhi also told Arindam during the break hours yesterday that we should practice cricket in such a decent manner, that our black shoes should remain clean. There should not be any stray marks or spots on our uniforms after practicing cricket.
Mainak:- Even she will come at the Eastern Park everyday at 10.55 AM to take us towards the school, ha ha ha…Ei, Nonigopal, start the bowling, boss. It is now 10.51 AM. We can practice another over easily.
Rakesh:- Loh! Idhaar Nidhi kaa naam liya…aur woh aa gayi…bahut din zinda rahegi sausoori…
Nidhi:- Arindam! It is 10.53 AM now. You and your friends should start walking towards the school now.
Arindam:- Yeah! Yeah! Guys! Let us pack up for today!
Rakesh:- Saaley! Yahaan pe film ka shooting chal raha tha kya?
Bhanu:- Ha ha ha…Arindam bhai…ki chakkar boss…You are obeying the orders of this girl today. Yesterday, you were ruling on her!
Arindam:- At present, she is working as a representative of Mrs. Samaddar, naah. If I say something to her, it will directly go to the ears of Mrs. Samaddar and I will be in big trouble. So, why take unnecessary troubles, yaar!
Nidhi:- Arindam, what are you whispering at my back. Walk with me. Come on!
Arindam:- Yeah! Yeah! Now, I am walking with you.
Nidhi:- I know that your friends are not happy with me, but, at least, you should not be angry on me. We are good friends in the sports field. I feel bad, when you criticize me at my back. Whatever you feel about me, tell me straight away on my face, naah!
Arindam:- Oh! You girls are all the ….
Nidhi:- What!
Arindam:- No, no, nothing! Let us walk fast towards the school.
Ganga:- Ha ha ha…saala…duto ke bhalo maaniyechey maairi…jamon buno ol, tamon bagha tetul…
Other students of Class VIII walking towards the school:- Ha ha ha…ki khilli maairi…

Tamang:- This year, Rihanna is requesting all of us to go and celebrate Christmas party at her house.
Nonigopal:- No, no, we are not interested in those Christian celebrations.
Srabanti:- What’s wrong in that! In Christmas party, we can eat lots of tasty cakes!
Arindam:- Actually, the problem is elsewhere! Rihanna stays in Bidhannagar, which is at the outskirts of Kolkata. If we go there in the evening, we may not be able to return back.
Rihanna:- If that’s the problem, then come to my house at afternoon at around 1 PM, naah…You people can enjoy the party till 6 PM easily. In any case, we have a private car. Our driver will give you the lift. That’s not a problem at all. Because I stay far away, that can’t be a reason for not coming to my house. Come on! This is just…not acceptable.
Satya:- Ok, ok, we will go.
Rihanna:- Both Tamang and Joseph know my house. They have gone to my house for several times. So, I can expect that you people are coming to our Christmas party on Saturday afternoon.
Riku:- Yeah! Of course! We are coming!

Students of Class VIII:- Good afternoon, Sir!
Mr. Richards:- Yeah! Yeah! Good afternoon! Please sit down! I came to give you all a good news! For the first time in the history of this school, 5 students of our school are in the top 50 rank list of Maths Olympiad. 2 of them are from class X and class IX each and another one is from Class VIII. Guess, who it can be?
Mainak:- Sir, only one boy appeared in the exam from this class. His name is Raja.
Mr. Richards:- Ha ha ha…ei, Raja…congratz, dude! You have made us proud by securing 13th position in the All India level Maths Olympiad Exam. Come out of your seat. We have a small prize for you. Students, for such a good performance, we are giving Raja, a Geometry Set Box, 2 Mathemagic Books and two packets of Cadburys chocolates. Not only have that, for the next year, all the text books of Raja will be sponsored by the School authority. Please give a big round of applause for our Raja.
Students of Class VIII:- Hurrah! Raja! Raja!
Mr. Richards:- Now, I have one question! How you prepared yourself for such a tough Mathematics exam?
Raja:- Sir, I am the youngest son of my family. Both my eldest and elder brother has topped in the Maths Olympiad as well as in IIT exams. So, my brothers are my motivating teachers in this regard and I also want to be in the topper list of the IIT exam.
Mr. Richards:- Oh! It’s a heredity factor! But, I like that spirit! If my elder brothers can do it, why can’t I? That’s great, buddy! Keep up the momentum! We are always there to help you out.
Raja:- Thank you, Sir!
Mr. Richards:- Accha! I have another announcement to make. On 17th December, your school will get closed for the winter vacation. So, on that day, we have organized a small Christmas party for both the morning and afternoon session students. Now, this year, students of afternoon session will give lozenge or toffees to the morning session students as a Santa Claus. From each class of afternoon session, we will select one student to become Santa Claus. Now, from your class, I want a student, who is somewhat fat and has a good voice too. So, whom can I select? Class; please respond!
Students of Class VIII:- Raqeeb! Raqeeb! Sir!
Mr. Richards:- Who is Raqeeb? Please stand up! Aah! Perfect! Raqeeb, you have a perfect figure of a Santa Claus. On 17th December, you have to come to school at around 9 AM to cheer up the Class III students. Don’t worry; if you can give the best performance, you will get many prizes from us. It is the Christmas season! Don’t worry about gifts! The more you give, the more you gain within your hearts! Merry Christmas to you all in advance as I will be in vacation from tomorrow, i.e. 15th December!
Students of Class VIII:- Same to you, Sir! Have a great vacation.
Mr. Richards:- Thank you! Bye for now!
